About the project

Save The 1 Percent is a book-in-progress arguing that Universal Basic Income (UBI) is revolution insurance — the cheapest policy the wealthy will ever buy.

Every civilization that concentrated wealth past a critical threshold collapsed. The pattern has held for twenty-seven centuries. AI is accelerating the next one.

This isn't charity. It's the math behind the cheapest insurance policy in history. Drawing on game theory, historical pattern recognition, and real numbers — every source cited, every calculation shown.

The thesis

The 1% should fund UBI not out of altruism, but out of rational self-interest. When automation eliminates enough jobs, the historical pattern — 1789, 1917, and dozens of others — predicts upheaval. UBI is the insurance premium that prevents the claim.
